Forecast simulations of the spread of infectious diseases
NIMS has undertaken, using substantiated data capable of addressing human ment, the development of mathematical models that enable to predict the path in which infectious diseases spread and perform simulations to test various mediation strategies. Research regarding the acquisition and analysis of data on regional population structures, human ment and infectious diseases incidences as well as research on methodologies to verify the effectiveness and accuracy of infectious disease spread pattern simulation models are being undertaken.
