최근 미분기하학과 관련분야 연구발전 동향에 대해 폭넓게 회의하고 첨부 명기한 강연자들의 강연을 중심으로 학술 연구에
관해 발표하고 토론한다. 또한 Seoul ICM 2014 개최를 기념하여 본 학술대회를 세계수학자대회의 Satellite Conferences와
연계하여 진행하고자 하며 현재, ICM 조직위원회로부터 위성학회 개최승인을 얻어놓은 상태이다

미분기하국제워크셥을 통해 발표된 연구결과는 후진 교육과 국가과학기술 발전을 위해 매년 Proceedings를 편집하였다. 따
라서 본 학술대회에서도 변함없이 프로시딩을 편찬할 것이며 특히, 2014 ICM Satellite Conference와 병행하여 본 학술대회
가 개최되어지기 때문에 이번에는 Springer series인 Proceedings in Mathematics and Statistics (PROMS,
http://www.springer.com/series/10533)에서 발간할 계획이며 이들은 변함없이 Math. Review 및 Zentralblatt Math. 에 회
람할 것이다.

특히, S.S. Chern conjecture, S.T. Yau conjecture and its counter example, symmetric submanifolds, convex and
integral geometry, complex two plane Grasmmannians, non-compact Grassmannians, homogeneous hypersurface
and foliations on symmetric space, E. Cartans's structural equations for cosmology and differential geometry 및
Riemannian, conformal, projective, concircular and conharmonic curvature 2-form등의 Riemannian 다양체상의
generalized curvature 2-form 등을 중점적으로 연구회의 한다.

세계 각국의 저명한 학자들을 초청하여 본 학술대회 및 관련 분야 연구자들의 학문적인 왕성한 교류를 위하여 본 학술대회
의 조직위원회는 오랫동안 홍보활동을 벌여왔으며 다음과 같은 구성원들로 과학위원회도 구성되어져 있다. 이들 또한 기꺼
이 본 학술대회가 성황리에 개최될 수 있도록 세계 각국에서 열심히 활동을 벌이고 있다.
